Build your Tangem vault
We explain seedless and optional seed-phrase setup before you choose. You activate the wallet in the official Tangem app and complete backup across your Tangem cards before funding it.

Put your backup plan on paper
If your wallet creates a recovery phrase, write it privately in Shield Folio and check its order yourself. Seedless Tangem has no phrase to write: its backup is the cards, while Shield Folio organizes your recovery plan. No photos, uploads, or cloud copies.

Check access and storage
Confirm your backup card works. Keep cards and any written credentials separately, and choose a secure location for your notebook. Never delete or reset a wallet just to test recovery.
